Center for Reproductive Health is a private,
non-profit health care clinic offering a wide
range of services specifically for women. All
services at MCRH are completely confidential. We
believe all women have the right to reproductive
and sexual freedom. We offer detailed
information and educational materials about all
aspects of reproductive health, from unwanted
pregnancies to birth control options. We
encourage women to understand their bodies and
the choices available to them and to make
informed, uncoerced decisions about their
reproductive future. We value all women and are
committed to offering basic reproductive health
care in a non-judgmental and supportive
environment. We do not discriminate based on

following information describes the many
services we offer at MCRH.
Abortion
MCRH specializes in abortion services. We
support every woman's right to a safe, legal
abortion in a strictly confidential setting. We
believe the right to obtain an abortion is
fundamental to women's freedom. We are a
licensed abortion provider and our physicians
are Obstetrician-Gynecologists who are licensed
to perform abortions. We provide thorough
counseling for our patients in order to assure
that each woman's medical and emotional needs
are met. Our counselors, lab technicians, and
nurses support each woman while she is in our
facility before, during, and after her
procedure.
We perform abortions from 5 to 14 weeks since a woman's last
normal menstrual period (LNMP). The pregnancy termination is
an out-patient procedure. The day of your appointment, you will
be at the clinic for approximately 4 to 5 hours. The services
included in your abortion fee are pregnancy testing, lab work,
abortion and birth control counseling, pelvic exam, pap smear,
ultrasound, the procedure itself, pre- and post-operative medications,
and a follow-up exam two weeks following your procedure. The
procedure is a vacuum aspiration technique which usually takes
10-15 minutes. Vacuum aspiration is a very safe procedure. We
provide each patient with explicit aftercare instructions and
we recommend as much rest as possible for the two days following
the abortion.
